About Vineland Fire Department
The City of Vineland Fire Department (NJ) is a combination career/volunteer agency serving a growing community of 60,000+ residents from six stations and answering nearly 2,000 calls a year. More than 150 firefighters—across five volunteer houses and one career station—depend on an extensive Snap-tite Hose footprint: over 20,000 feet of large-diameter Snap-tite LDH deployed in 1,000-foot loads on seven engines and four ladders citywide.
Needed new fire engine and with it we needed new LDH more LDH and when I reached out to Anthony Brooks, I told him our needs because he was from the area and actually from our department previously he understood exactly what we needed. He was able to fulfill the order in less than a week. I think it was actually three days from the time of order being placed to time it came in. I think we got in about six days because of the weekend they also encompass FDIC so that kind of delayed a little bit, but it was so quick from deliver from order to delivery. It was something well outside our expectation the week we plan probably 2 to 3 months before we were gonna get the hose based on industry standards, and what we've done with other hoses in the past. So we were, we are beyond thrilled with our delivery timeline
The city of Vineland fire department has five volunteer stations and one career station totaling about 150 members. We've had a partnership with Snap-tite hose for well over 20 years. We never look to get cheaper on LDH. The hose from Snap-tite has always worked for us. We've had very little failures, and the only failures that we've had were because of age and use, we really enjoy the product. We never think to stray in a different market because of the success we've had with Snap-tite. We have 1000 feet on Seven different engines, and four ladders throughout the city. We have excess of about 20, 000 feet of Snap-tite LDH.
The relationship we've had with Snap-tite has been a great experience. We've just were thrilled with the product. We're thrilled with with everything It brings to the table, and you know what we pass it on to other departments of how good of a relationship we've had with and continue to have Snap-tite.
