About Vineland Fire Department
The City of Vineland Fire Department (NJ) is a combination career/volunteer agency serving a growing community of over 60,000 residents from six stations and responding to nearly 2,500 calls a year. More than 150 firefighters—across five volunteer houses and one career station—depend on an extensive Snap-tite Hose footprint: over 20,000 feet of Snap-tite LDH.
Our department urgently needed a new fire engine, and along with it, we needed new hose—specifically, more LDH. When I reached out to Anthony Brooks, I explained our needs. Since he was from the area and had previously been part of our department, he understood exactly what we required and was eager to help. He was able to fulfill the order in less than a week. In fact, it was exactly three days from the time the order was placed to delivery. That turnaround time was well beyond our expectations. Usually, hose orders from other companies take at least two to three months to arrive. We were beyond thrilled with the delivery timeline.
The City of Vineland Fire Department has five volunteer stations and one career station, totaling about 150 members. We've had a partnership with Snap-tite Hose for well over 20 years. We never look to cut costs when it comes to LDH—Snap-tite’s hoses always performed well for us. We've never considered switching to another brand because of the consistent success we've had with Snap-tite. We carry 1,000 feet of hose on eleven different engines and five ladder trucks throughout the city. In total, we have about 20,000 feet of Snap-tite LDH.
